How to Use Tapathub.com

Welcome to Tapathub.com!

Tapathub.com is a social confession platform where you can anonymously send and receive confessions, connect with others, share your thoughts, and maintain your personal diary. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to use Tapathub.com and get the most out of its features.

1. Signing Up

To join Tapathub.com, you must sign up using your Discord account. This ensures that only verified users can participate in the platform.

• Click on the "Sign Up" button on the homepage.
• You'll be redirected to the Discord login page. Log in with your Discord credentials.
• Authorize Tapathub.com to access your Discord username, avatar, and banner. Don't worry, we don't collect your email or password.
• Once authenticated, you'll be taken to your profile page where you can customize your profile.

2. Creating and Editing Your Profile

Your profile is your identity on Tapathub.com. You can add an avatar, a bio, and even link to your website if you have one.

• Navigate to the "Edit Profile" page from the menu.
• Update your name (max 12 characters), add a bio (max 150 characters), and upload an avatar (250x250px).
• You can also indicate if you're a gamer, which will unlock the upcoming Gaming page.
• If you have a website, you can add it in the provided field.
• Once you're done, click "Update Profile" to save your changes.

3. Sending and Receiving Confessions

Confessions are the heart of Tapathub.com. They allow users to express their thoughts anonymously.

• To send a confession, go to another user's profile and find the confession box.
• Type your confession and submit it. The confession will be sent to the user and posted in their profile's confession section.
• If you're receiving confessions, you can view them in your profile. Confessions sent to you will also be posted in your favorite or current Discord server. To enable this, go to Edit Profile, select your preferred server, and choose the server where you'd like to receive confessions. Confessions will be sent to the designated channel on the chosen server where you will be tagged upon receiving a confession.
• As we set our website to prioritize user privacy, all confessions in the admin management page are not added, but the user who owns the profile has the power to delete any bad confessions or bullying.

4. Writing and Sharing Diary Entries

Tapathub.com also allows you to maintain a personal diary where you can write and share your thoughts, experiences, or anything that's on your mind.

• To write a new diary entry, go to the "Diary" section from the menu.
• Compose your entry and submit it. Your diary entry will be posted in your profile's diary section.
• Diary entries can also be shared to your favorite or selected Discord server. To enable this, go to Edit Profile, select your preferred server, and choose the channel on that server where you'd like your diary entries to be shared.
• Diary posts are anonymous, meaning no one will know that you posted it, but others can still view the diary without seeing your account.
• Just like with confessions, you have full control over your diary. You can edit or delete your entries at any time.

5. Interacting with Other Users

Tapathub.com allows you to interact with other users by following them, commenting on their confessions or diary entries, and even rating their profiles.

• You can follow users to stay updated on their confessions, status updates, and other activities of those they follow.
• Leave comments on confessions and diary entries to engage with others and share your thoughts.
• Rate user profiles by giving them up to 5 hearts. Profiles with the highest ratings will be featured on the "Best-Rated Profiles" page.

6. Managing Your Account

Tapathub.com gives you full control over your account. You can edit your profile, view your confessions and diary entries, or even delete your account if you wish.

• To manage your account, go to the "Edit Profile" page.
• You can update your details, change your avatar, and manage your diary by editing or deleting entries. You can also manage the confessions you receive by deleting them from your profile if you feel threatened, if the confession is inappropriate, or if it involves bullying. Additionally, you can reply to the confessions you receive.
• If you ever want to delete your account, there's an option at the bottom of the "Edit Profile" page. Please note that this action is irreversible and will permanently remove all your data.

7. Security and Privacy

Your security and privacy are our top priorities at Tapathub.com. We fetch your Discord ID and store it in your account. This Discord ID is used to @tag you when someone leaves a confession on your profile. You will also be tagged in your favorite or selected Discord server if you have set it up in your profile settings. We only fetch your Discord username, avatar, banner, and Discord ID. We do not store any sensitive information like your email or password. Additionally, all confessions and diary entries are anonymized to protect your identity.

9. Google Login and Account Connections

At Tapathub.com, we provide both Discord and Google login options to make accessing your account easier.

• If you're a new member joining through Discord, you'll have the option to connect your Google account for easy login. This option will appear in the "Edit Profile" section.
• Likewise, if you join through Google, you will see an option in "Edit Profile" to connect your Discord account.
• Connecting both Discord and Google accounts allows for more flexible login options.
• Google login is optional and designed to provide an additional way to access your account without compromising security.

Note: Google login is entirely optional. Tapathub.com is still primarily based on Discord, but it is not associated with Discord.com.

10. Uploading and Managing Photos

Tapathub.com allows you to upload up to 5 photos to your profile. These photos are visible to your followers and can be commented on, making it a great way to share moments with your community.

• To upload photos, go to your User Dashboard or the homepage and find the "Manage Photos" section.
• Click on the "Upload Photos" link to upload photos directly from your device. You can have a maximum of 5 photos at any time.
• If you want to change a photo, you must delete an existing one to make room for a new upload.
• Your followers will be able to see and comment on your photos.
• Only you have the ability to delete your photos. Once deleted, the photos are permanently removed from the platform.
• Admins also have the ability to delete photos if they are found to be inappropriate, contain nudity, bullying, or violate any other community guidelines. Users will be notified if their photo is removed by an admin.
