Privacy Policy

TapatHub.com is a social network that centers around our Discord servers. We use webhooks to send every confession and diary entry to specific channels set by the user on their selected servers, allowing users to engage in discussions based on posts. Although it is a social network, all users are Discord members. For security purposes, only the username, avatar, banner, and Discord ID are fetched when users log in using their Discord accounts—no sensitive information like email or password is accessed, ensuring the safety of each user's Discord account.

Data Collection

Our platform collects only the username, avatar, banner, and Discord ID of users when they log in using their Discord accounts. Similarly, when users log in via Google, only the Google ID is added to each user account—no email or password is accessed. We do not collect or store any sensitive information such as email addresses or passwords.

Users may also upload photos (up to 5), which are visible to their followers. These photos can be deleted at any time, and once deleted, they are permanently removed from our servers. We do not access any other media or files from users without their explicit consent.

Use of Data

The collected data is used solely for the purpose of providing a seamless user experience on TapatHub.com. This includes the ability to @tag users when someone leaves a confession or a comment on their diary entry, as well as tagging them in their favorite or selected Discord server. We do not share, sell, or distribute any user data to third parties.

Additionally, the data is used to facilitate inbox messaging between users who mutually follow each other. These messages are private and not monitored unless required by law or in cases of violation of our Terms of Service. No sensitive information or attachments (such as pictures or videos) are shared within the inbox, except for YouTube links, which are detected by the system.

Gamers Hub

TapatHub.com has introduced the Gamers Hub, where users can compete in games and participate in team-based discussions. Each user has the ability to create their own team within the platform. However, users cannot delete teams they create. Instead, team ownership can only be transferred to another user. Only the Discord server founder has the authority to delete a team. This ensures proper management and accountability within the gaming community.

All team-related data, including discussions, team members, and competitions, is securely stored and managed in accordance with our platform’s security protocols. Data related to team ownership transfers and competitions is not shared with third parties and is only accessible to authorized users.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Control Over Your Data

Each user has full control over their account and can delete or destroy all their interactions on the website at any time. This includes deleting their profile, confessions, diary entries, ratings, and uploaded photos. Additionally, diary entries are posted anonymously, meaning no one will know who posted them, but others can still view the diary without seeing the associated account.

Contest IP Tracking

We have added IP tracking due to the ongoing contests. After the first round of the Best-Rated Profiles contest, we noticed a significant number of alternative accounts attempting to cheat. To maintain fairness, we have implemented a policy that allows a maximum of 4 accounts to log in from the same IP address per household.

Restrictions on Gambling and Web3

TapatHub.com prohibits any gambling-related content or activities, as well as promotional content involving Web3 technologies, including airdrops, NFTs, or cryptocurrency-related projects. However, users, including the platform owner, may share NFTs for personal purposes, such as showcasing or displaying their collection, as long as it does not involve promotions or sales. Any endorsements or promotions of Web3 projects by users will be removed. Sharing Web3-related information, such as wallet addresses, in private inbox messages or comments, is allowed, but it is the responsibility of the user sharing the information. TapatHub does not endorse or promote any Web3-related activities.
