This feature is designed to spark conversations and curiosity among your members about the anonymous confessions posted on Tapathub.com profiles.

How It Works

Confessions: When a user receives a confession on their profile, it will be posted in a designated channel on your server. This can start discussions and increase member engagement.

Diary Entries: Members can anonymously post diary entries on Tapathub.com. These entries are also sent to your server, encouraging conversations while keeping the poster anonymous. Users can edit or delete their entries at any time.

Server Selection: Users can choose which Discord servers they are active on in the 'Edit Profile' section on Tapathub.com. This ensures that confessions they receive or diary entries they post are only sent to their chosen servers.

Security and Privacy Measures

To prevent unwanted pings or spam, we’ve disabled the use of @everyone, @here, and URLs in the confession box and diary posts. This helps maintain a positive environment in your server.

We also prioritize user privacy. No admin or moderator has the ability to see who made a confession or posted a diary entry, ensuring that every user’s privacy is fully protected. This anonymity is a key feature of Tapathub.com, fostering honest and open communication.

However, if server founders or teams wish to gain access to confession details, they must sign a user agreement acknowledging the privacy risks and accepting full responsibility for any consequences that may arise from accessing this information. This agreement ensures that the confidentiality of users is maintained to the highest standard, even when exceptions are made. Additionally, since Tapathub.com was not initially set up to track who posted confessions, re-coding the database and system would be necessary to allow this access, which would involve significant changes to the platform's current architecture. As we cannot do this, TapatHub.com is set up to protect the privacy of each user, and this feature will not be implemented.

It's important to understand that requesting access to confession details not only compromises the trust and safety of your community but also exposes you to serious legal and ethical risks. By signing the user agreement, you would assume full liability for any breaches of privacy or misuse of the information, which could lead to legal action, reputational damage, and loss of trust among your members. Given the potential problems and the irreversible impact on your community, we strongly advise against pursuing this option. Since there is no option to see who confessed, each user who owns a profile has the ability to delete any confession they receive. This empowers users to manage their own content and maintain control over what appears on their profiles, further ensuring their privacy and comfort on the platform.

How We Keep Your Webhook Safe

We understand how important it is to keep your server secure. The webhook URL you provide is stored securely and protected with encryption. This means that even if someone attempts unauthorized access, the webhook URL remains safe.

Only trusted server administrators can manage the webhook settings. We also use a system that verifies every request using the webhook to ensure it comes from the correct source. This helps protect your server.

To prevent misuse, we do not allow @everyone, @here, or URLs in webhooks. This stops users from posting phishing links, pings, or spam in your server, keeping it safe for everyone.

If your webhook URL is ever shared by mistake, remember that we’ve set up the system to block @everyone, @here, and URLs. This means that if something goes wrong, it’s likely because the webhook URL was shared with someone who shouldn’t have had it. One exciting new feature is the ability to host singing contests within your server. As a founder, you can set up a contest with a specific Vote Start time and Vote End time. Each singer will be rated by the community members during the voting period.

When the voting ends, the system automatically calculates the votes and determines the winner without any additional effort required from the founder or moderators. This feature ensures a fair and transparent process, making it easy to host engaging events that boost community interaction.
