This is my "reciprocation" era: if you treat me with respect, I will treat you with respect; if you spend enough time and effort to keep us connected, I will surely do the same; and if you offer me your time and kindness I will undoubtedly return gratitude tenfold. I came to the realization that life will be much more peaceful once you realize that not everyone will appreciate everything you have to offer. Don't expect anything in return, and try not to give too much to the point where you freely give your time and love to others without realizing that it leaves you empty. I learned this the hard way after giving too much and being left empty-handed. You deserve to be treated the same as you treat others. It's a necessary, it's a standard you need to fill within the soul so that other people don't regard you as always the available and always the giver because sometimes the people you're in some lives is also the people you need in your own life.
